Each child learns at a different pace. Some factors which could impact how long a student will need to tutor are: 

1. consistency - the student should have regular tutoring sessions each week to build regular habits/skills.

2. processing speed - how fast the student is able to learn information.

3. learning impairments - students with dyslexia, learning disabilities in reading, and/or attention deficits may take longer to learn information.
